As kids and still today, we enjoy exploring tidal pools or kelp beds in hopes of discovery.  Spotting a brightly colored Sea Star is always a highlight and watching them slowly maneuver with their arms and hundreds of tiny tube feet is extraordinary.  They are strong enough to open a mussels or oyster shell and enzymes from their stomach digest the prey.  Sea Stars come in a rainbow of colors, so can you imagine how much fun we are going to have with this piece!
