This sprouting juvenile Orca Whale is breaking through the water at top speed!  Possibly chasing a school of Salmon or adventure seeking.  These magnificent marine mammals are one of the fastest in the sea and can reach speeds up to 35mph.  For nearly 30 years we lived on San Juan Island, WA and got to experience them and witness their highly intelligent behaviors.
