These adorable Peach-faced lovebirds, originally from Africa started growing in the Phoenix area in the mid-1980s.  This area is home to roughly 2,000 of them and their appearance created confusion and curiosity among local residents, especially those in the birding community.  They especially liked Saguaro Cactus living and hanging out in groups in the palm trees and bottlebrush.
